[CITIES XL PLATINUM] New road design project and some discussions...

Such megacity like this needs huge roads to afford massive traffics.

Basically, roads should be designed within the grid-lines and less cross should be built.

  

Therefore!

I placed an urban expressway that connects with residence area and industrial (offices and factories) area. There are only three crosses that exist on the urban expressway.

Before the construction of this urban expressway, there were only two approaches from residential area to industrial zone (subway and normal road). However, the construction has lead citizens to commute faster than they used to.

Furthermore, some experimental road designs have been implemented in this city.

Still, citizens face traffic jams, but compare to those of the past...these are nothing at all😂.

but I'm still considering the alternative to the design of interchanges.

Perhaps, I may reference the design from here..?

Hmm...Calgary's one seems like an excellent idea to solve traffic jams by letting the traffic flows in the right way, but it also seems costly at the same time.

Lowering the gradient of ramps might be a solution for the cost issues...
